DaVita Sr Analyst, Government Business (VillageHealth) in Denver, Colorado

The Senior Analyst of Government Programs Analytics will be a key contributor to DaVita’s efforts to provide integrated care to our Medicare dialysis patients. The Senior Analyst will support Government Programs in the creation, extract, and management of large datasets, and demonstrate a proven ability to analyze and translate the data into meaningful business insights to support multiple integrated care programs and external clients/payors. This role will require expertise in quantitative analysis,quality oversight and financial modeling, and an ability to work effectively across multiple teams, levels of the organization, and external clients/payorsto help DaVita reach its goals for integrated care development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a liaison between different business lanes within DaVita departments to facilitate the collection and analysis of clinical outcomes, operational and financial parameters

  • Data analytics and financial modeling

  • Operational and quality reporting development creation and delivery

  • Lead and coordinate the development efforts of assigned special projects using Six Sigma methodology

  • Present findings from analysis to external and internal clients/stakeholders

  • Develops knowledge of competitive products and external factors in each market

  • Use effective communication methods and well-developed interpersonal skills to build relationships and collaborate with multiple stakeholders from all levels of the organization and backgrounds

  • Work closely with department teammates to assist in evaluating, implementing and monitoring progress on key development and quality opportunities including clinical outcomes and patient experience

  • Prepares, organizes, and displays data/results to convey targeted messages for each audience

  • Understands regulatory guidelines and operates within the guidelines to mitigate risk to the business

  • Support top enterprise initiatives with exposure to senior leadership and influential external stakeholders

  • Effectively communicate and build relationships with myriad stakeholders, payorsand business/functional lanes

  • Build financial models to support legislative and regulatory advocacy, buy vs. build investment decisions, vendor and partner negotiations, new market selection, and medical cost innovation pilots

  • Lead projects with support from manager and the team

  • Apply a relentless attention to detail in all deliverables

  • Deal with confidential information using discretion and judgment

QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES

Education, licenses, certifications, and experience required to fulfill the essential duties, include computer skills as required.

  • 2+ years of experience preferred; IT, healthcare, project management, consulting, corporate finance, or corporate strategy a plus

  • Strong, creative problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Excellent writing and editorial skills

  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Proficiency in Minitab, SQL and VBA a plus

  • Regulatory, legislative, legal, health plan, and/or social media experience a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Potential up to 25% travel
