Learn more by visitingESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESIs this the right position to help you achieve your professional goals? Someof the key responsibilities for the position include: Preparing technical reports, permit applications, and compliance andcompliance monitoring plans, such as those required under the EmergencyPlanning and Community Right to Know Act (EPCRA), Clean Air Act, CleanWater Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), OccupationalSafety and Health Act (OSHA), and Mine Safety and Health Act (MHSA); Performing on-site multi-media environmental compliance audits and monitoringfollow-up corrective actions; Performing on-site multi-media audits and monitoring follow-up correctiveactions; Developing and implementing sustainability and Environmental, Social, andGovernance (ESG) strategies, processes, metrics and disclosures topropel business success consistent with stakeholder expectations and globalbest practices in accountability and transparency; Designing, implementing, and auditing management systems; Supporting litigation support projects; and Business development support, including client interactions participatingin professional organizations; and preparing proposals.Collaboration and mentoring are cornerstones of Geosyntec's culture. We also offerprofessional development opportunities including in-house seminars,webinars, and mentoring, that allow our professionals to build thetechnical and business skills necessary to become successful consultants.Fieldwork including overnight travel: Up to 50%Your success is our success. Advancement is based on an individual'sown performance and initiative.EDUCATION AND LICENSURE Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmentalmanagement/sustainability, environmental/civil/chemical engineering orgeology. (required) Advanced degree in the same. (preferred)SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS At least 1 year of experience working in a consulting, manufacturing orindustrial environment, with a working knowledge of industrial processes andtheir impacts to the environment and employee health and safety. (preferred) Familiarity with USEPA, OSHA, MSHA, and state EHandS regulations andunderstanding of the environmental permit application and compliance andperformance monitoring processes. (preferred) Familiarity with developing, auditing, and/or maintaining corporatemanagement and industry standards. (preferred) Familiarity with sustainability and ESG strategies, ESG reportingframework
