Survey Intern - Denver, COWestwood Professional Services, Inc.Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Survey Intern to join ourteam in our Denver, CO office. Westwood has a highly experienced anddynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professionalservices to our clients.Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for assisting the Crew Chief in the operation of a field surveycrew.The major objectives are the quality (accuracy, thoroughness, meetingregulatory requirements, public relations) of work, safety, andmaintenance of equipment.Must operate equipment, maintain safe work environment, protect andmaintain the equipment and vehicles, accurately and efficiently collectfield data and locate features.Record accurate and clear surveying notes.Willingness to travel for 2-3 weeks at a time.Requires a lot of walking outside year round through all kinds of terrain andin extreme heat and cold.Accurately record data points with data collector.Set wooden stakes and iron rods, cut and clear brush, trees, etc.Adhere to the company's Safety, Quality Management and EquipmentMaintenance policies.Physical Requirements:Physically mobile in and around construction sites and field assignmentsAbility to carry survey equipment and supplies in remote, rural or urbansurroundingsAbility to lift 50 pounds and walk long distances RequiredExperienceHigh school diploma or GED required.Three (3) to four (4) years of progressive experience in land surveyfield operations and proficiency with land survey equipment (totalstations) and GPS is required.About Westwood Professional Services, Inc.
