Technical Project Manager

The Technical Project Manager for Global IT Risk Management (GIT RM) will join a team that ensures Global Information Technology systems, services, and sites are secure and compliant with Oracle Policies and GIT standards, regulatory and customer requirements.

This is a critical and highly visible position coordinating the CSSAP process within the GIT line of business. The position will be responsible to manage the overall lifecycle of CSSAP reviews including initiation of the process with application/system owners, coordinating reviews with our LOB approvers, preparing & maintaining the GIT CSSAP pipeline with CSA & GIS and ensuring the all project action items and artifacts are properly managed.

The position is part of a team that is responsible for managing key security processes related to access, audit and compliance for GIT and the LOBs we support. Additional responsibilities may include involvement in key programs such as Risk MGT process automation, standards documentation, security & risk metrics, security awareness, communications, and reporting the status of services from a risk, security, compliance and continuity perspective.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Comfortable discussing technical concepts with business people and business concepts with technical people. Able to express complex concepts in plain language to reach broader audiences.

  • Must be an exception communicator and comfortable in presenting both in public and online to business and technical executives.

  • Ability to succeed through collaboration and working through other internal and external organizations and individuals with a track record of delivering results within a matrix environment

  • Strong leadership capabilities and strong interpersonal skills required

  • Desire and ability to learn quickly and adjust to changing priorities while maintaining positive attitude.

  • Certified

Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems

Security Professional (CISSP) and Project Management Professional (PMP)

certifications are a plus.

  • 5 years Risk Management experience with an emphasis on Project Management.

  • Bachelors Degree and/or Masters Degree in related field of study preferred, but not required.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Coordinates all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Projects often involve network, server, or software implementation and upgrades, PC deployment and the like.

Coordinates work performed by IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project specifications, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically seven years of project management, product design or related experience needed.
