About the Position
We are currently seeking a Traffic Design Engineer to add to our team in Denver, Colorado. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and passionate self-starter to work directly with local and national land development projects. The candidate will work in a highly collaborative interdisciplinary office environment. The Traffic Design Engineer assists in the approval and development of public and private projects within their development team.
Collection, analysis, and reporting of traffic data
Intersection capacity analysis
Review of roadway geometrics and signal timing
Bicycle and pedestrian evaluation
Perform engineering/planning work with supervision
Research local design standards for preparation of traffic studies
Assist with preparation of technical reports
Travel to and from job sites, other offices, and meetings, as required
May perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or Transportation Planning
F.E. or E.I.T preferred
- 0 to 4 years of experience in traffic engineering and/or transportation planning
Knowledge of traffic analysis software, (HCS, CAD, Synchro, VISSIM preferred);
Excellent oral and written communication skills
