Reasonable accommodations may be made to enableindividuals with disabilities to perform the essentials job responsibilities.POSITION SUMMARYThe purpose of this position is to provide On-The-Job Training to new,entry-level, or transferred employees in the operation and/or departmentequipment and Work Instructions and to assist in the developing and deliveryof other training, i.e. orientation, quality assurance, safety,problem solving and continuous improvement training.This position has constant responsibility to comply with Safety work rules aswell as an obligation to reinforce Safety as a Core Value. Ensures that allpolicies, procedures and activities, related to Food Safety and Quality,are followed and complied with uniformly, to reduce product and processvariabiDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provides a safe work environment for all personnel.Assumes personal responsibility to insure safe and healthy workplace foreveryone. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and, incorporatesafety and health in all jobs and tasks.Primary responsibility will be to oversee and implement the Employee TrainingProgram for Operations employees. This includes training and validation oftrainees with respect to their performance against established trainingobjectives and recommendation of additional skill requirements as needed.Develop OJT training programs and participate on teams developing trainingplans and OJT programs.Assist in developing Work Instructions, checklists, and visual aids.Conduct employee OJT/classroom training and certification. Follow up on aregular, planned schedule to answer questions and verify proficiency.Conduct cross training and annual re-qualification as required by the TrainingProgram. Support employees who have questions or need additional assistance inunderstanding their job responsibilities.Assist maintaining files of training materials and organized log(s) of alltraining conducted.Develop and adhere to validation processes to ensure training is effectiveDuring non-training or non-production periods, the OJT trainer may be calledupon to perform in other capacities such as: working on problem solving,continuous improvement or safety programs/training; cross training ofoperators; assist with training programs in other departments; check forcorrect procedure and accuracy; and assist in general housekeeping activities.Promote a culture of change to operate to standardsPerform all training in full compliance with all company, state and/orfederal safety and environmental regulations.Notify designated personnel of any irregularities in materials, process,or equipment.Designated 1st shift, with additional hours as needed. Ability to work onany shift as needed to meet internal customer training needs.Expected to adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP and HACCPguidelines, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality ismaintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that mayadversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.Per
