Tech Data Corporation Vendor Field BDE I - Ruckus in Denver, Colorado

This is a Field Sales Individual Contributor role that identifiesopportunities for business expansion supporting customer sales strategy.Develops and maintains the business relationship by providing Ruckus solutionsto focus in territory account(s), to achieve the identified strategy andbusiness financial objectives. In normal circumstances, this role requiresextensive travel through the western half of the United States.Principal Responsibilities:Subject matter expert (SME) on assigned Vendor's brand, technologysolutions, program offerings, etc. for their assigned customers.Responsible for the execution of the strategic customer growth plans andbusiness relationships in assigned account(s) by providing value addedsolutions for their Vendor.Delivers sales results for Tech Data by both organically growing businesswithin their assigned focus customers and in successfully entry level salesproposalsIdentifies and creates opportunity demand for products, coordinating thesupporting seminars, training and resource awareness to assigned customersthat drives growth plan success in the targeted accountsPerforms analysis and reports results of various program impact for identifiedcustomer(s) notifying the AM of success, issues and future growth planstrategiesMaintains and drives trending knowledge of products, competitors,technology and customers in the assigned supplier product marketIdentifies and maintains field Vendor relationshipsQualifications, RequiredKnowledge Skills .and. Abilities:Full knowledge of assigned Vendor's product / service line. Gainsunderstanding of Tech Data's strategic sales pillars and associated valueofferings so they begin to be sold into the territory.Works on small to mid-size accounts of moderate complexity. The Vendor FieldBDE 1 territory is moderate in financial nature as to company impact /benefit (annual revenue, gross profit and/or complexity dynamics).Works with a higher level of supervision based on entry level Tech Data fieldsales training and support needed. Performs and begins to perfects salesobjectives and procedures with field leadership guidance and support.Builds relationships directly with customers to broaden customer base andincrease sales.Builds relationships directly with their assigned Vendor; especially at theregional field sales to field sales level.Actions impact the success of the entire work group. Failure to accomplishgoals or meet customer expectations will result in failure of work group tomeet goals.Experience:3-5 years experience in sales.This sales experience may or may not include field sales experience; as thisposition is Tech Data's entry level field salesposition.Education/Certification:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledgeand job skills can be obtained.Distinguishing Characteristics:Possesses thorough knowledge of solutions and assigned products in theirspecific Vendor brand.Exhibits the ability to deliver strategic Vendor solutions and identifynet-new partners for Tech Data in their specific Vendor brand.Possesses established valuable relationships with key Vendor contacts withinthe brandJoin our team to connect the world with the power of technology!Tech Data is an equal opportunity organization.
