Join our team andreimagine what your career can be.Position PurposeResponsible for executing the business development strategy for the Aviationmarket in the following FAA regions of NW Mountain, Great Lakes and Centralregions. As we grow our national presence, our long-term goal as anorganization is to continue to grow our overall national presence with thesupport of a focus in the Aviation market. We are assembling the mosteffective business development team to maintain and protect relationships withthe company's key clients and successfully pursue new clients to driverevenue and profit opportunities, while achieving the highest levels ofclient satisfaction and value.Essential FunctionsBundle and sell KLJ's service offerings focusing on KLJ's Aviationmarkets, but will need to be able to promote the One KLJ modelDevelop a strategy for frequent contact with key clients driving value forthem in those interactions and identifying growth opportunities for thecompanyDefine, qualify and develop strategy for pursuing leads including providingdirection to Business Development Managers, evaluating leads brought forwardand coordinate with the Market Directors on making the Go-No-Go decisions onwhether or not to pursue businessOnce the initial connection is established with prospective clients, leadthe relationship building process, articulate how the company's servicescan provide value and close business opportunitiesGrow and develop the business relationship with current clients drivingloyalty and additional revenueUtilize market data and intelligence to guide strategy for new businessdevelopment activitiesNegotiate contracts with new and existing clientsWork with the Production Director and Project Managers to maximize theCustomer ExperienceMaintain accurate client and pipeline data in the company's CRM systemOversee the financial aspects of the account including control of overruns onprojects, billing issues and post-close account maintenance and continuousservice after closeMonitor client satisfaction metrics and work with leadership, production andproject management teams to improve client satisfaction and valueWhen appropriate, may be an active team member on projects handling clientcommunications, client scope interpretation, or other elements related todelivering the best value to clients. ResponsibilitiesSet up, participate in and facilitate regular meetings with clientsUtilize effective written and oral communication to clearly articulate theservices and value the company providesWork effectively both independently and as team member with the go-tomarket, production and project management teams to determine who is the bestgo-to market team to attend initial meetings with prospective clients.Close new business opportunitiesAttend industry trade shows to connect with existing and prospective clients QualificationsA Bachelor's Degree preferred; applicable experience may be substituted inlieu of formal education.10 years of experience in business development including successful trackrecord of closing business and maintaining strong client relationships.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsProfessional demeanor and presence with the ability to interact with internaland external contacts at all levelsHigh level of emotional intelligence to be able to read and interpretsituations and adjust approach to drive business resultsAbility to develop and sustain strong professional relationships over anextended period of time by delivering value to clients, actively listeningand following through on commi
