LabCorp is seeking a Customer Service Support Representative to join our STAT lab in Englewood, CO. This position will work on the STAT team accessioning specimens and manager the call out with results to physician offices, hospital laboratories, and internal departments to ensure that STAT labs are handle effectively and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Customer Service and motivated to work with a patient focused team in an innovative company.
The shift for the position will be Monday - Friday, 12:30pm - 9:00pm.
Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas
Accurately identify and label specimens
Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples
Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
Speak with customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner using protocol procedures
Inquire, clarify, and confirm customer requirements and understanding of the solution
Provide additional customer education and information as needed
Work in multiple databases to research complex issues and questions
Notify clients of test results in a timely and accurate manner
Review test forms for accuracy and report any discrepancies
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Associate's or Bachelor's degree highly desired
Prior healthcare industry, such as a physician's office or a hospital highly is a plus
Ability to accurately identify specimens
Experience with Salesforce.com and/or Laboratory Information Systems is preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent ability to listen and respond
Must be courteous with strong customer service orientation
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is required
Excellent multitasking abilities required
Experience working in a team environment
Strong data entry and organizational skills
Monday to Friday 12:30pm - 9:00pm
