Under direct supervision of the Supervisor and PatientService Mgr., the dietary assistant performs a variety of food serviceduties for patients, employees, medical staff, and visitors. Completesassigned sanitation, dish room duties and other related tasks. Effectivecommunication skills oral and written required. Maintain high level ofcustomer service at all times. EXPERIENCE: Prior healthcare related food service experience preferred, but willtrain on the job. C. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Must be knowledgeable in food handling, safety and sanitation and befamiliar with therapeutic diets. Able to read and write English with computer skills preferred.
