Job Title: Director of Human Resources
Reports To: CEO
Department: Human Resources
Exemption Status: Exempt/Salary
Summary: The Director of Human Resourcesplans, develops, and implements policies, procedures, safety and risk management practices, and benefits programs in order to be responsive to the company’s goals and competitive practices. Provides guidance to managers and employees on matters relating to employee relations, compensation and benefits, and training and development. Responsible for ensuring proper departmental staffing levels are maintained. Ensures adherence to federal, state and local legal requirements.
Location: Englewood, CO
Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday
Develop and maintain a strong rapport and partnership with executive staff, department heads, clients, internal team members, vendors, etc.
Ensure all aspects of the new hire on-boarding and orientation is in place and well executed, including but not limited to: review of Employee Handbook policies and procedures, Company Benefits, Corporate Culture, creating new hire packets and personnel files for new employees complete with training calendar, conducting new hire orientations, name badges, office signage, IT services, communication assessments, orders of nameplates and badges.
Coordinate schedules and track the administration and completion of 90-day, 6 month and annual reviews for all employees.
Work in partnership with department heads and supervisors to achieve fair and productive performance evaluations for all employees.
Partner with department heads and supervisors to plan and process employee terminations.
Schedule and administer Exit Interviews to include forms and process employee term records.
Track, schedule, and conduct quarterly Corporate Culture Sessions.
Initiate new and manage existing Awards and Recognition Programs.
Conduct wage survey and analysis on a scheduled basis and by position.
Develop, train, and implement company policies and procedures.
Attend departmental staff meetings, board meetings, orientations, and other meetings as requested to acquire substantial understanding and knowledge about the department's business objectives, goals, operations, and work culture
Ensure the Company Policy and Procedure Manuals, Safety Manual, Employee Handbook, Job Descriptions, and Performance Appraisal forms are accurate and professional.
Work in partnership with Accounting Services on payroll and client payroll backup
Administer benefits programs for the organization.
Efficiently and effectively recruit to fill open positions including but not limited to: harnessing the internet/social media to identify and source candidates, partnering with Web Manager to enhance the career page on the company’s website, screening resumes, conducting phone interviews, administering assessments, scheduling interviews with hiring manager, performing background checks, elimination letters, preparation and management of offer letter.

Education and Experience:
Minimum Five years of related experience required
Four-year degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required
Master’s degree in human resources, business or related field preferred
PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP certification required
Previous supervisor/managerial experience required
Experience in the community management industry preferred
