Ultra Petroleum Lead Production Engineer in Englewood, Colorado
Design and operate gas and liquid production equipment in high altitude,cold Rocky Mountain environment using knowledge of Compression,Separation, Dehydration and gas sales, Liquid Storage and sales(LACT), Saltwater plant and injection operations, Horizontal ResourcePlays, Mountain Cold Weather Operations Facilities, and Regulatory andEngineering Standards. Monitor production, allocation and sales of gas andliquid volumes. Oversee corrosion monitoring and abatement. Perform artificiallift design -Gas lift, Rod Pump, ESP, Jet Pump, Plunger liftoptimization and operation. Design and install metering for gas and liquids.Prepare AFE for major work. Oversee and direct Project Management of facilityconstruction and operations. Prepare workover recommendation and procedures.Collaborate with and mentor engineering colleagues, ProductionSuperintendent, Foremen and Lease Operators. Collaborate with drilling andcompletion groups to coordinate activity. Collaborate with reservoir engineersto assess well metrics, risk and economic viability. Oversee and directordesign and permitting of SWD wells. Prepare presentation material for seniormanagement.Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering, ChemicalEngineering, Mechanical Engineering, or closely related field and fiveyears of progressive experience in the job offered or as a Petroleum Engineer. Experience to include at least five years of working knowledge ofCompression, Separation, Dehydration and Gas Sales, Liquid Storage andSales (LACT), Saltwater Plant and Injection Operations, HorizontalResource Plays, Mountain Cold Weather Operations Facilities, andRegulatory and Engineering Standards.Position also requires travel to company job sites approximately 20% ofschedule.
