Corporate Securities Paralegal/Corporate Secretary
Our client, a leading mining company with their corporate HQ located in the Denver Tech Center is looking for a 10 plus years corporate securities/corporate governance paralegal to support the legal department. The Corporate Secretary/Corporate Paralegal will be responsible for organizing, scheduling, and preparing agendas and papers for board meetings, committees and annual partners meetings, taking minutes, drafting resolutions, lodging as required regulatory forms, following up on actions from meetings, overseeing policies, making sure they are kept up to date and referred to the appropriate committee for approval, maintaining and corporate books. The corporate paralegal will be supporting the directors of company entities, dealing with correspondence, collating information and writing reports, ensuring decisions made are communicated to the relevant company stakeholders, liaising internally with the Chief Legal Officer and the Executive team. Paralegal certification or Bachelor s degree in law or business is required. 10 plus years' experience as a Company Secretary with a public company or relevant legal experience is essential for this Corporate Secretary/Corporate paralegal position. The ideal Corporate Securities Paralegal will have started their Paralegal training at a law firm. Excellent communication, organizational skills, writing skills, and strong attention to detail are required for this position. It is required to have very strong Office Suite skills. 7+ years of relevant experience
EDGAR/Blue Sky/ Public Company Paralegal Experience required!
