What you get to do every day
Field and send out send written business correspondence
Manage and place incoming telephone calls
You will likely support business development and client referral goals by actively cross-selling and referring customers
Deliver outstanding, friendly customer service in a timely fashion
Strong computer skills including customer database systems
Strong problem-solving skills
Comfort and confidence when interacting with internal and external partners and clients/customers
Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, e.g. ACT!, Illustrator, Highrise, and Insightly
3+ years of past relevant experience
Short Term Disability/long Term Disability experience preferred
Good understanding of benefits administration
Adeptness in Resolve Customer Service
Short Term Disability Insurance experience
Customer service experience
Earlier work involving Benefit Packages
Comprehensive knowledge of FMLA
Knowledge of leave of absences
Data entry experience highly preferred
Background working with Benefit Functions
Practical knowledge of Family Medical Leave
Demonstrated knowledge of Basic Medical Terminology
General familiarity with Basic Medical Terminology
achievement oriented, positive attitude and an approach to work rooted in professionalism
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Experience performing extensive research to resolve complex customer inquiries
Excellent customer service and office administrative skills
