• Performs failure fact finding using reliability engineering principles on downtime related events for defined critical assets.
• Develops and implements strategies to identify, prioritize, and engineer proactive solutions and asset reliability improvement processes and projects.
• Uses leadership and expertise in the principles of Cause Analysis and Reliability Centered Maintenance to create an environment of continuous asset reliability improvement.
• Reviews and monitors 5-Why cause analysis completion and subsequent results for effectiveness of basic cause identification.
• Promotes collaboration and improved working relations with all functions to drive continuous improvement of asset reliability, safety, engagement, turnover and environmental stewardship.
• Provides guidance to Corporate Reliability Manager on the balance between resources deployed for stabilization activities and proactive work.
70% - Identify, develop and implement solutions utilizing engineering practices to prevent and eliminate defects in critical plant assets.
15% - Provide leadership and guidance to site maintenance personnel with regards to process and metrics work stream components (work management system, asset health assurance, reliability engineering)
10% - Leads development and implementation of M&R strategies to achieve business and customer objectives with new assets added to the facility
5% - Provide guidance to pre and post REPI sites to ensure Reliability Engineering pre-deployment tasks are completed and processes are being sustained.

The expected hourly rate for this position is $20,50. This position is eligible for an Employee referral bonus: $500.00 and an attendance bonus: $2.00 /hr

• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems using formal techniques to evaluate systems, equipment, and processes.
• High level of mechanical/engineering knowledge
• Demonstrated ability to organize and implement solutions which improve operational effectiveness.
