North Range Behavioral Hlth-Greeley Case Manager, Intensive - Court Liaison in Greeley, Colorado

Days and hours may vary Sunday through Saturday, 7am - 7pm. Paid monthly.The Court Liaison position facilitates timely communication and collaborationbetween judicial and behavioral health systems. Promotes positive outcomesfor individuals living with mental health or co-occurring behavioral healthconditions. Informs judges, district attorneys, and defense attorneysabout available community-based behavioral health services for defendants,prioritizing those who have been ordered to undergo a competency evaluation orreceive competency restoration services. Connects individuals to behavioralhealth services, including conducting and/or referring for screenings andevaluations. Works closely and collaborates with criminal justice entitiesusing best practice standards and evidence-based practices, includingtrauma-informed and culturally competent delivery of services.Minimum Qualifications:Education/Credentials- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services area from an accredited college oruniversity required- Valid Colorado Driver's License with a driving record that meets agencyinsurability requirements as set forth for someone that must transport clients- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desired- A background check and substance abuse screen will be required.Experience- 2 years' experience working with individuals with mental health and/orsubstance use disorder challenges required.- Experience and familiarity in working within the criminal justice system,both Juvenile and Adult systems.- Knowledge of community resources available and independent ability tomaintain updated resource connections.- Knowledge of substance abuse disorders.- Preference given to those with experience working directly with offendersin a helping profession.Knowledge of:- Mild to severe mental health and/or substance usedisorders/disabilities and the recovery process.- Professional and ethical guidelines as outlined by the State of Colorado.- Behavioral Health and community resources, agencies, and services.- Motivational Interviewing process to engage clients intreatment/intervention approaches.- Evidence-based practice models.- Basic and routine computer programs and software.- Basic and routine records maintenance and filing practices assuringaccuracy.- Workplace policies and professionalism.- Organizational structure, workflow and operating procedures.Skills/Abilities to:- Plan and use effective interventions with individuals and families.- Read and interpret court instructions and communications, operating andmaintenance instructions and procedural manuals.- Communicate effectively and positively, both orally and in writing,with a wide range of individuals and constituencies, including when underemotionally charged and stressful situations.- Perform complex problem definition and resolution activities.- Plan, organize, time manage and prioritize multiple tasks andassignments. Use effective follow through.- Work independently and as a team member, maintain effective workingrelationships, and foster a cooperative work environment. Managerelationships in a constructive and positive manner.- Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.- Learn, teach, and implement evidence-based practice material andcurriculum.- Work with diverse populations and be culturally sensitive.- Perform tasks with a focus on exemplary customer service.- Maintain confidentiality.Responsibilities:- Conduct timely screening and assessment of defendants for behavioral healthconditions via HIPAA compliant record review and/or use of statewide courtdata system to determine need for referral and treatment options.- Identify and provide appropriate public and private program resources andtreatment options available for mental health services, substance usetreatment, transition and wraparound services to defendants, offenders,and those diverted from the criminal justice system within specified timeframe.- Refer, coordinate, and assist defendants w
