(Any oneposition may not include all of the duties listed nor do the listed examplesinclude all duties which may be found in positions of this class.)Assist with general clerical tasks, such as scanning, filing, copying,faxing, shredding, etc. Collect and deliver mail to the InvestigationsUnit and the Program Integrity Unit. Assist clients and internal customers byproviding general information on the phone or in person.Assist the Program Integrity Unit by making general phone calls, as directedto clients, internal customers and administrative court staff. Complete formletters and documents and mails forms, as directed.Research applicable state and county databases for information on eachindividual in a household for all newly assigned investigations. Preparesubpoenas, correspondence, memos, and statistical reports forinvestigations and/or appeals, when requested. Prepare wage recaps foreligibility program recoveries, using various sources of information.Research, input, and maintain information into multiple tracking logs anddatabases. Prepare reports from tracking logs or databases. Input, updateand research information within the tracking logs or databases, as needed.Maintain filing systems, including filing, tracking, and purging oldfiles. Assemble all documents associated with an investigation or appeals andprepare them for court case files. Prepare case files to be imaged and scanthem into the imaging system. Order and maintain office supplies.QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSRequired Education:High School diploma or GED equivalency.Preferred Education:Associates Degree.Required Work ExperienceTwo years business or clerical experience in an office environment thatincludes computer use, customer service and telephone use.Preferred Work Experience and Knowledge: Experience working in a human services environment. Working knowledge of public assistance fraud. Working knowledge of public assistance programs. Understanding of legal documents such as subpoenas.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Must possess ability to keyboard at 45 words per minute. Must pass Human Services background checks.Other Necessary RequirementsADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to enter data into several different computer programs. Ability tolearn and apply new computer skills on a regular basis. Knowledge of computerprograms such as Microsoft Windows and Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPointand Access.Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and departmentpolicies and procedures. Ability to write correspondence.Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group situations tocustomers, clients and other employees of the organization.Ability to apply math concepts and calculations in the work environment.Ability to apply common sense to problem solve in a work environment.Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast paced, highvolume and ever-changing work environment and be able to handle high stress
