Footprints to Recovery Peer Coach in Greenwood Village, Colorado

CO Sober Living is hiring Peer Coaches for our Sober Living Facility in Greenwood Village. Individuals in recovery are encouraged to apply.


  • Provide appropriate support and structure for residents in dealing with their recovery; interacts continually with residents.

  • Assist in the supervision of resident activities; maintain awareness of resident whereabouts at all time, including breaks and internal activities.

  • Provide orientation of the housing program in regard to program rules, procedures and services with each new resident.

  • Attend all mandatory training and in-house conferences/seminars as directed by Housing Manager.

  • Continually updates resident room list ensuring that all new resident admissions and discharges are reported in a timely fashion.

  • Monitor residents for signs of distress and/or behavioral concerns on an ongoing basis through routine bed checks and addresses and documents where necessary.

  • Completes rounds every half hour to ensure adequate behavior and safety of all residents.

  • Monitor residents cleaning/inspecting rooms for cleanliness/assigning daily chores.

  • Enforce residents wake-up and bedtime.

  • Facilitate community meetings.

  • Respond appropriately to all medical and other emergencies and documents as per policy states.

  • Maintain order and ensures compliance with rules and regulations; ensures that residents conduct themselves in an orderly manner when on agency property or in agency vehicles.

  • Whenever assigned to drive agency vehicles for any reason, all Recovery Coaches are responsible for safe operation and maintenance of vehicles entrusted to their care.

  • Provide transportation of residents to clinical campuses, outside meetings and or appointments.

  • Escort residents within the building or to the hospital or other services when necessary.

  • Escort residents on store runs, shopping trips, recreation, medical appointments, etc.

  • Randomly inspects all rooms, common areas, hallways, and bathrooms every thirty minutes and performs a thorough search for contraband daily of random rooms.

  • Conducts comprehensive and random room/unit searches and random urinalysis drug screens.

  • Conduct searches of all resident's bags and bodies when a resident is being admitted to the facility.

  • Confiscate and secure any contraband found and notifies the Shift Supervisor.

  • Report to supervisor any discrepancies in residents? whereabouts.

  • Must have a valid driver?s license.

  • Report accurate and up to date reports on every resident, every shift.

  • Clerical duties such as data entry, copy, scan, file and organize resident?s paperwork.

  • Performs other duties, tasks, and services as assigned by the executive management team or shift supervisor.
