This person will have an entrepreneurial attitude, beenthusiastic, and lead business development and technical efforts focused onproviding strategic solutions to our clients' most complex problems. Thisposition will serve on our Air Quality Steering Committee, collaborate withthe Sustainability team and will support the development and implementation ofnew strategies to expand Geosyntec's team, reputation and market sharewithin the Air Quality and Carbon Management business.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESIs this the right position to help you achieve your professional goals?Collaboration and mentoring are cornerstones of Geosyntec's culture. We operate under a sell-manage-do culture, and so we expectthat you'd work on challenging technical projects while leveraging yourexisting knowledge and experience to help Geosyntec expand its currentpractices and capabilities through business development and client management.You will also be asked to take on project management responsibilities, alongwith staff management and mentoring tasks. Some of the specific technicalresponsibilities for this position include:Business development, project management and technical lead for air qualityand carbon management projects concerning evolving air quality and greenhousegas regulations and voluntary measures.Provide strategic advice, emission reduction assessments, emissionsquantification and studies, carbon and climate change programs,environmental impact assessments and permitting, and compliance solutions.Maintain high visibility in the marketplace through regular client contact,participation in client-based professional organizations, and attendance andpresentations at local and national events.Technical leader for air quality and carbon management matters, regulatoryanalyses as driven by the Clean Air Act, as well as state and localregulations and evolving GHG regulations and reporting programs.Provide guidance to clients in establishing carbon reduction targets andevaluating implementation of low carbon measures, as well as assistance inimplementing solutions.Provide consulting services for air permitting (such as NSR, PSD, TitleV, GHG, EPCRA and state-level pre-construction and operating permits),and air quality impact assessments involving dispersion modeling and healthrisOversee the scoping or conducting air pollution control device selection andevaluations, source emission monitoring (CEMs and PEMs), and variousambient and source emission measurements and methods.Assess and develop engineering solutions using applied analytical andstatistical techniques.Assist in the development and planning of new and modified facilities, aswell as providing integrated consulting, environmental, design andconstruction support for some of the largest projects in the U.S.Manage projects and staff, including providing technical leadership andoversight, risk management, and mentoring.Work closely with related teams across the Company (e.g., EnvironmentalPermitting and Planning, Sustainability, Environmental Management ActionGroup, client teams
