JOB SCOPEThis role will be responsible for development of automation and workflowapplications, working with a team to enhance the efficiency of theapplication users. This position will require full stack development knowledgeas well as the ability to work with users to gather, understand andimplement solutions that are integrated into large scale applications.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvide and build detailed technical automation and workflow applicationdesigns for enterprise solutions.Diagnose complex issues, evaluate, recommend and execute the best resolution.Communicate frequently and effectively with other engineers on the team.Become a trusted partner with our partners through the delivery of excellentcustomer service and knowledge that will allow our business to growProject management - document project requirements including scope,schedule, testing and terms of delivery to ensure project is completed withhighest level of quality on time.Manage detailed application requirements and collaborate with the developmentteam to ensure quality function, features and user experience.Test software to ensure proper and efficient execution and adherence tobusiness and technical requirements.Write code that meets the production requirements and design specifications tofunction in a full stack PERL/CGI environment and anticipate potentialerrors/issue.Provide users of the system both demonstration and documentation related tothe applications built.Write clean, concise code that is stable, extensible and unit-testedappropriately.Troubleshoots and resolves major application and database issues.Performs other duties as requested by supervisor.BASIC / MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree (B. Sc.) in Computer Science or Engineering from afour-year college or university; or equivalent training, education andexperienMinimum six (6) years of Software Developer/Architect using PERLprogramming language and implementation of PERL/CGIMinimum four (4) years of DBMS with MySQL/MariaDBMinimum four (4) years of Advanced HTML and Javascript, Dashboardcreation, Workflow AutomationADDITIONAL JOB QUALIFICATIONSAdvanced Knowledge in the PERL programming language and implementation ofPERL/CGIKnowledge of GIT/GITLab for software version controlAdvanced Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks such asNODE,AJAX and JQueryAdvanced SQL query writing including joins, unions and complex crossdatabase queries, knowledge of stored procedures and triggers in aMySQL/MariaDB environmentKnowledge of CSS(Cascading Style Sheets) and reactive layoutsKnowledge of Docker for system containerization both working as a Developerand Admin of the Docker systemKnowledge in system development (e.g. LINUX/UNIX, API proficiency)Nice to have Redmine as user and admistratorExpereince with Python, Ruby on Rails, GoLangKnowledge of Atlassian JIRA APIAbility to use personal computer and software applicationsAble to work in a team environmentExperience in diagraming software, such as VisioAbility to perform duties in a very fast pace environment and ability to learnnew technology quicklyAble to us the following office equipment telephone, copier, fax, andcalculatorAbility to use personal computer and software applicationsKnowledge of Microsoft OfficeAbility to read, write, speak and understand EnglishWORKING CONDITIONSOffice EnvironmentMay work in Network Lab environment24X7 Network Operations environment.
