JOB SUMMARYThis position requires a dynamic leader that can oversee multiple agile mobileapplication software projects simultaneously, and run scrum meetings foreach. The person who fills this role should be a seasoned, certified ScrumMaster that can adjust their style to meet the dynamic challenges of softwaredevelopment. The Scrum Master will be responsible for sprint planning,retrospectives, running daily / weekly stand-up meetings, sending outnotes and action items, and helping the managers to plan work for teammembers.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWorks closely with development teams to continuously improve team's softwaredeliveryActively and consistently supports different stakeholders to ensure thehighest quality software products to our customersPlans upcoming sprints for a given project, including helping the team toreach consensus for what can be achieved during the sprintMonitors and reports on sprints that are in-progressCoordinates project activities including updating the project status andrelease historyWorks with the leadership team to strategically improve the efficiency andeffectiveness of our Agile processesAssisting with internal and external communication for the team and improvingtransparencySupporting and educating the Product Owner and team, especially with respectto reviewing and maintaining the product backlogREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSThorough understanding of the Agile/SAFeUnderstands both Scrum and Kanban methodologiesStrong organizational skillsExtensive experience working with JIRA, or other Agile development tools(Rally, Trello, VersionOne, or similar)Experience with mobile software development is preferredA servant leadership style that can facilitate and build team consensusEffective oral, written, and presentation skills are requiredExcellent interpersonal communication and facilitation skillsKnowledge of TDD/BDD, CI/CD, DevOps, and automated testing preferredExcellent ability to work well with shifting prioritiesThe ability to identify and eliminate road blocks that team members mayencounter during a sprintCritical thinker, ability to negotiate with key stakeholders and maintainpositive attitudeDisplay professional, positive, and approachable attitude/demeanor anddiscretionProficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)EDUCATIONBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science,Business, Management or related field or equivalent work experienceWORKING CONDITIONSOffice environmentSalaries depend on geography, experience, and education; negotiationsbegin at $72200For more information on Spectrum's benefits, please click .The Spectrum brands (including Spectrum Networks, Spectrum Enterprise andSpectrum Reach) are powered and innovated by Charter Communications.
