We'll celebrate milestones and acknowledge the value ofspirituality in healing.We're proud of what we know, which includes how much there is to learn.Your day.As a Performance Improvement Specialist (RN) you need to know how to:Lead, develop, and identify quality initiatives and use processimprovement techniques to meet SCL Health and Good Samaritan Medical CentergoaDevelop and use data analysis to identify and drive quality and processimprovement decisions.Be responsible for core measures and submission of data for regulatoryagencies. Act as an agent of change and lead projects tasked to improvequality outcomes.Use Quality Engineering principles, tools and practices to develop andoptimize systems and processes that are aligned with the overall business andquality vision.Perform chart reviews and collect data for and maintain the database to meetcore measure data submission requirements of regulatory agencies, e.g. TheJoint Commission. Analyze data for performance improvement activity planningand evaluation within the GSMC quality program.Be responsible for Core Measure real time abstraction, SEPSIScoordination, and RN/Physician education around Core Measures.Collaborate with the Director of Quality, monitor quality results, andleverage Process Improvement tools to ensure expected results are met and orexceeded.Partner with Lean participants in the development of standardized workflows,instructions, and procedures.Your experience.We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is whywe require:Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)Current certification as a Green Belt in LEAN process or the ability to obtainwithin two (2) years of hireCurrent Colorado RN license or compact license with the ability to obtainColorado RN licenseMinimum of five (5) years relevant healthcare or hospital experienceDemonstrated experience with change management and project managementleadership, tools and techniques.Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills with theability to effectively adapt content and style to diverse audiences frommedical professionals, senior administrative leaders and other employeesExpert in using spreadsheets/ Google Sheets
