Area of InterestAdministrativeSalary/HourlyHourlyGeneral SummaryThe Sales Admin Support is responsible for serving as the point of contact forexisting customers with queries about products, orders, and deliveries.This position provides support to the sales team, maintains communicationwith customer, sales and production, and assists troubleshooting problems.Works under general supervision; a certain degree of creativity and latitudeis required; relays on pre-established guidelines to perform the functionsof the job.Principal Duties/ResponsibilitiesMaintains frequent communication with customer base and gathers information toensure their satisfaction.Services and maintains positive relationships with current customer base.Assists resolving customer issues/problems in a timely manner.Provides support to customers under the direction of Account ManagersWorks with account managers to comply with customer requests and to solvecustomer problems.Prepares various reports and correspondence as required.Tracking of credits, returns and back orders.Coordination of pricing and bids.Assist in monthly and quarterly contracting.Performs other duties as required.RequirementsKnowledge RequiredMinimum of high school graduateTwo years of experience in customer services or related is preferred.Proficiency in the use of computer and business related software, includingMicrosoft applications (Excel, Word and Outlook)Working knowledge of various office equipment (computer, scanner, etc.)Working knowledge of industry terminology, products and services.Skills and abilitiesProficiency in the use of the English language in reading, writing andspeakingExcellent written and verbal communicationsProficiency in the use of business mathAbility to successfully communicate with all organizational levelsAbility to communicate clearly via phone and email with co-workers andmanagementAbility to organize and prioritize work load and manage timeAbility to work hours mandated by managementAbility to pass a drug testConductSelf-managingHighly motivated and enthusiasticGood interpersonal skills and good communicatorPersonable and able to relate to othersStrong organization skills and detail orientedBe a team player and support the Company's goalsConducts in a professional mannerUniversal Forest Products and its subsidiaries and affiliates are equalopportunity employers.
