A Brief Overview
The Mortgage Customer Service Representative is an entry level position that will allow you to play an essential part on our Loan Servicing team. The Mortgage Customer Service Representative is part of a team in a customer service call center, that assists FirstBank customers and branches by helping them with mortgage payments and general loan information. This position will be involved in processing loan modifications, re-amortizations and payoff requests. In addition, this position will help with the processing and balancing of payments received from customers.
What you will do
Answers phone calls from customers and other employees regarding the servicing aspects of an originated mortgage loan.
Assembles and reviews mortgage loans on our mortgage servicing system.
Processes and balances mortgage payments in compliance with applicable procedures and regulations.
Generates year end statements, annual statements and periodic notices for customers.
Processes requests to payoff, modify and re-amortize mortgage loans.
Works closely with several departments to assist customers and ensure compliance with applicable requirements and regulations.
Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
Understands and complies with all provisions of the Safety in the Workplace policy.

- Entry-level job with little or no prior relevant work experience in the function
Experience with balancing transactions
Knowledge of mortgage loan terms and products
Strong customer service skills
