Executive DirectorMUSTS:1. Minimum BA Degree in human services related field preferred.2. A minimum of 3 years ' experience in successful program administrationand/or business management.3. A background of successful community public relations.4. There shall be no evidence of alcohol and/or drug abuse for a minimumof 5 years.5. If a history of chemical dependency, this position requires totalabstinence from alcohol and drugs.6. These are minimum requirements. The Board of Directors may, at theirdiscretion, stipulate additional requirements prior to the solicitation ofjob applicants.SKILLS:1. Knowledge of Alcohol/Drug Treatment, diagnostic evaluation and planning.2. Skills in treatment program evaluations, planning, and development.3. Skills in supervision of personnel.4. Skills in community organization and community relationships.5. Skills in planning program evaluation and needs assessment appropriate toprogram development.6. Skills in budget and fiscal planningDUTIES: This is a full-time position responsible for overalldirection/supervision of the day-to-day operation of the various componentsof the agency.1. Implement all decisions of the Board of Directors related to policy,budgets, and major expenditures.2. Plan and administer all programs offered by the agency.3. Recruit, hire, and supervise qualified staff.4. Establish job descriptions and desirable qualifications (education andexperience) for all positions.5. Provide guidance and supervision in the preparation of budget and otherday-to-day operations6. Develop and maintain a program of public relations with community agencies.7. Assure that programs and facilities are operated in accordance with alllocal, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations.8. Assure that all employees are regularly evaluated for job performance.9. Develop a program of staff development to include in-service training.10. Provide consultation to other service elements.11. Confer with and advise staff on policy matters and conduct staffmeetings to consider treatment procedures and other operational concerns.12.
