In this role you will need to be someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, leads by example, and can influence and foster collaboration to generate impactful results. As a Program Planner you will be part of a team that plans & manages detailed schedule networks from design, fabrication, test, & into operations.

Our Program Planners work with cross-functional teams to drive progress and performance, monitor changes and status, and facilitate communication between stakeholders. We assist in negotiating handoffs between product areas regarding technical content and schedules as well as facilitating workaround planning as required; serve as a liaison to Program Management by maintaining & presenting relevant planning information and metrics; and provide visibility and communicate potential issues to management and engineering. Responsibilities will include:

• Interface with engineering, finance and business operations, and program management while working within the planning team to translate authorized customer requirements into the baseline

• Develop and maintain horizontally/vertically integrated compliant Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) which accurately and comprehensively validate contractual scope, work flow, and resources required to execute the program

• Participate in process improvement activities, drive action, develop workarounds and determine solutions to a variety of complex problems, and influence overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization

• Assist program leadership in driving and holding all organizations accountable to schedule and contractual commitments

Desired Skills: • Bachelors degree in a related discipline

• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) philosophy.

• Knowledge of Critical Path Analysis including float and margin.

• Strong communication and relationship management skills

• Strong influencing and relationship skills

• Ability to work independently as well as part of an integrated team.

• Familiarity with Integrated Masters Schedules, Work Breakdown Structure, risk management and earned value analysis.

• Experience working with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) compliance, such as Lockheed Martin Program Performance Management Process; experience with audits and reviews

• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server or equivalent scheduling tools.

• Ability to work multiple projects effectively

• Ability to work with cross functional teams to facilitate cross coordination and communication
