This Lead Software position requires participation in the integration and development of complex mission application software on the Canyon program. Responsibilities include trouble shooting and implementing solutions to a variety of software engineering problems in a timely manner. Responsible for frequent use, and application of software engineering standards and techniques, including Object Oriented Design and Agile development techniques. Will work in a highly collaborative environment with frequent and direct interaction with peers and occasional customer interactions.
Experience with JavaEE, Linux OS and Object-Oriented design is required. Strong ability to work as a member of a small highly skilled team in a dynamic environment. The preferred candidate must work under general supervision, have the ability to multi-task, adapt to change, and possess strong organizational and communication skills. Experience with Eclipse, Linux, JMS, Junit, Git, Jenkins, PostgreSQL is highly desirable. Experience with algorithm development is also desirable. Occasional odd and/or extended hours may be required.
The selected candidate must have experience developing software in Java EE.
Experience with the Linux OS.
