Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer Entry Level in Littleton, Colorado

Description: The successful candidate will contribute and grow their knowledge and understanding of System Engineering Thinking, by performing technical assignment for the OSIRIS-REx mission. Systems Engineering support consists of preparation and coordination of spacecraft events, such as day to day operations, critical operations and other unique events. Knowledge of interplanetary spacecraft operations is desired. Communication skills are paramount since job requirements consist of interacting with the entire flight team while coordinating procedures and uplink products. Responsibilities may also include real-time ops. The candidate will be empowered to take responsibility for their assigned tasks and associated contributions towards the success of the mission.

Desired Skills: Aerospace or computer science degree.

Basic understanding of spacecraft subsystems and

operations.

Experience developing and using procedural documents.

Understanding of software product configuration

management concepts and tools.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree in engineering, math, software, physics

or a related degree from an accredited college.

Basic knowledge of Linux or Unix operating environment
