HandM is also a founding member of the ETandD Partnership, acollaborative industry partnership working to reduce fatalities, injuries,and illnesses in the electric line construction industry.Summary:The Associate Project Manager I proactively and systematically progressesthrough basic, intermediate and advanced levels of understanding in keyproject management competencies (including project financials; projectscheduling; project production data tracking and dashboarding; andsubcontractor/vendor management), while assisting in providingproject-related management for a large scale fiber optic design-build projectin the Denver metropolitan area.This position also facilitates utilizing HandM's Project ManagementMethodology to manage all phases of the construction project lifecycle andcontributes to the direct support of other functional project teams in theplanning and execution of the job including resolving issues, managingresources, project coordination, and oversight of project accounting.Responsibilities:Additionally, the Associate Project Manager I will assist the ProjectManager to track, update, dashboard, and report project productionstatistics; work with project craft time and production tracking software;assemble customer invoicing; collaborate with the Project Controller toensure project cost and production statistics are accurately reported;champion HandM project initiatives and culture (Lean and safety). Thisposition works cross-functionally with all project PMO, construction, anddesign team members to ensure a successful project.Other responsibilities include assisting in leading implementation ofmethodology, tools and approaches using fundamentals of HandM ProjectManagement practices, as well as implementing project/program plans asassignedThe Associate Project Manager I aids in ensuring that team goals, roles,protocols, and business relationships are consistent with high-performancerequirements and congruent with the company's strategy.
