Aerotek Engineering Technician II in Louisville, Colorado

Description:

Working on the production floor where they are building a spacecraft. They have recently started production on the space craft and are looking for skilled technicians.

  • Machine operation

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics

  • Troubleshooting problems

  • Cut, grind, fabrication

  • custom or prototype experience

  • Composites

-Precision drilling

Skills:

machine operation, troubleshooting, hand and power tools, fabrication, fabrication machine shop, structural assembly, structural mechanical, composite material, blueprint reading, grinder, metal cutting, prototype assembly

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Need to have a willingness to learn this is totally new to everyone so they need someone whose willing to do it as they are taught.

  • "jack of all trades" - comfortable building something different everyday, contributing to building the entire space craft.

  • Problem solving skills, deeper understanding of how things work mechanically and how to fix
