We look forpeople who have a safety-first mindset, who are collaborative teamplayers, who deliver on their commitments, who are innovators in search ofa better way, and who believe in inclusion.Working at Nutrien Ag Solutions will provide you an opportunity to help usFeed the Future, and grow your career.What you will do:Lead multiple software development teams while helping create a culture ofhigh performanceDeliver best-in-class software by mentor development team managers on softwaredevelopment best practicesHelp development teams tackle challenging problems by having a bias foraction, including breaking problems into workable chunks, using iterativedevelopment, and leveraging software architecture design patternsPartner with Product Management, UX Development, Cloud Engineering,Architecture and business stakeholders to create product roadmaps and releaseschedulesBuild strong relationships with business and technology stakeholdersLead high-level (epic level) estimation exercises for product releasesMentor development teams on estimation techniques for epic and feature levelestimationOversee the development of SaaS and Mobile productsMentor software development managers and senior managers on roadmapdevelopment and release planningChampion Agile methodologies including the Scrum frameworkLeverage Agile practices across multiple development teams to creatingrepeatable and predictable software releasesIdentify software delivery problems on teams and use your knowledge andexperience to help resolve issuesCommunicate release issues early, and work with product management,architecture, IT, and others to mitigate issuesDefine metrics for all development teams, oversee implementation of metricsmeasurement and report on KPIs to executive leadershipWhat you will bring:Bachelor's required; experience in lieu of degree may be considered15+ years of experience in software development and/or operationsincluding leading software architecture teams is requiredFamiliarity with one or more of the following: React Native, Node.js,Java, Python, REST APIs, JavaScript, TypeScriptExperience with microservice architecture is requiredMaster's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a relateddiscipline is preferredManagement experience with team sizes of 50+ members conducting softwaredevelopment, software support or software operations is preferredExperience working on projects that span multiple business units, servingmultiple stakeholders is preferredScrum or oth
