The Executive Assistant is responsible to provide administrative support to Hach's Service Organization inclusive of the Vice President, Global Service. The position requires strong verbal and written communication skills, technical skills, ability to multi-task, attention to detail, and the initiative to work in a dynamic, fast-paced global environment. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks in a discreet and confidential manner. This opportunity is in our Loveland, CO corporate office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads through DBS
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of management and other colleagues
Participate and lead projects to further effectiveness of the Services team such as service intranet management, recognition program or skip level meeting facilitation
Builds People, Teams and Organizations
Schedule and coordinate internal and external meetings in collaboration with other executive administrators
Coordinate regular team events and activities to aid in building team camaraderie and morale
Liaise with internal staff at all levels
Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate quarterly 250+ attendee meetings flawlessly to ensure effectiveness of communication
Answer and handle incoming calls and requests
High integrity and ability to handle confidential information with high degree of discretion and sensitivity
High attention to detail while working under pressure
Charts the Course
Handle executive calendars
Coordinate and book domestic and international travel
Process expense reports
Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents
Assist with special projects such as the bi-annual executive leadership conference and annual global summits
Key Behaviors for Success
Education and/or Experience
8+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant in a fast-paced demanding environment, supporting multiple executives
Experience with Microsoft Office Product Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint
Experience managing calendars, coordinating internal & external meetings, working with external vendors, booking domestic and international travel, and general administrative functions; phone screening, catering, assisting guests, creating/executing purchase requisitions for the executive.
Experience working with a Fortune 500 company with diverse customer groups and job functions is preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
