Danaher`s Water Quality Business is a global leader in water quality analysis and treatment, providing instrumentation and disinfection systems to help analyze and manage the quality of ultra-pure water, portable water, wastewater, groundwater and ocean water in residential, commercial, industrial, and natural resource applications. TheProduct Compliance Specialist IIassures the continued compliance of Hach products to global product regulations. This position will serve as the point of contact for all Agile PLM Strategic Compliance project implementations. In addition, the applicant will administer design and development efforts for the administration of Strategic Compliance regulations and information. The position requires resolving technical problems and providing training to users to maximize the value of Compliance information.
Essential Functions: * Lead Strategic Compliance projects to implement Agile PLM and viewer updates, including: * Administration of the software update process (SCR, definition of system & test requirements) * Design and deploy product data reporting tools for internal and external customers * Build Agile PLM compliance data monitoring systems for quality evaluation * Design/Build/Deploy solutions for managing global compliance regulations and processes in Microsoft SharePoint or Compliance Engineering website, includes: * Conceptualizing/deploying user-friendly design ideas that enable global information sharing * Creating workflows for administration of Strategic Compliance documents and processes * Designing processes and providing training to colleagues for inputting and extracting data * Supports Product Compliance responsibilities including: * Reviewing and approving Instrument Compliance ECO’s * Approving products for sale to target markets * Administration of Compliance standards and directives * Independently collects compliance information & monitors product certifications Other Non-Essential Functions: * Other duties as assigned
* Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree in a technology field (Computer Science, Electronics) preferred or an equivalent combination of education and work experience * Knowledge of global product compliance regulations * Experienced with Agile PLM, Oracle ERP or similar business systems * Experience with change control processes * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal * Proficient Microsoft Office Suite ENVIRONMENT * * _Physical Demands_ _ _ The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
