Danaher Corporation Sr. Director, Global Marketing in Loveland, Colorado

Purpose of Position

Are you passionate about leading teams, driving innovation, and expanding marketing capabilities? We are looking for a Sr. Director of Global Marketing to lead a global team of talented marketing associates to drive commercial success and customer advocacy within Hach's target markets and sales channels!

You will have the opportunity to lead three Marketing/ Business Unit Directors and build strategic capabilities across all market channels to optimize the customer journey. This includes enabling sales prospecting, driving innovation in Hach’s consumables business, improving commercialization of services and rapidly growing our marketing capabilities, while making an impact in water quality!

Essential Functions


  • Build and develop a high-performing organization

  • Engage and empower associates globally to perform at their highest levels

Omni-Channel Marketing

  • Critical metric ownership of revenue driven by lead generation across sales channels (key accounts, field/ inside sales, channel partners) and all digital commerce revenue (, punch-out, other)

Account-Based Marketing

  • Partner with the Global Key Accounts team in Sales to build and execute growth strategies for key global customers

  • Grow consumables sales by driving product and business model innovation

Profitable Business Unit Growth

  • Demonstrate new and higher standards for well-executed new product introductions and commercial tactics to drive growth for existing products

Strategy & Business Development

  • Identify and engage strategic partners to accelerate Hach’s global growth including open innovation partners and channel partners that enhance our portfolio and customer experience

  • Identify and cultivate acquisition targets as assigned; engage when vital in due diligence and integration of target companies

Education, Background and Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other Marketing advanced degree desired

  • 10+ years experience in marketing, strategy, product development/ product portfolio management

  • Significant experience with financial modeling and business case development as well as with critical metric measurement and analytics

  • Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills on a global level, attracting top talent

  • High level of cultural sensitivity
