Ensures the highest quality production at the lowest possible costand meets customer specifications and delivery requirements in accordance withAvient policies and procedures.Essential FunctionsObtains the correct documentation for the batch. Ensures the correctingredients are delivered to the work area. May be required to obtain thecorrect ingredients for mixing and weigh out the ingredients to meet therecipe specifications.Sets up and starts any weigh-up or packaging machinery, checking allcontrols for adherence to operating/safety procedures.Notifies appropriate personnel of any issues, problems or concerns in atimely manner.Safely and neatly processes, batch off, screen, cut up, packageand/or skid material to correct size/container according to customerspecificatAccurately supplies/supports Production Operators with appropriatematerials/functions to efficiently keep all equipment operational.Performs all required machine cleaning.Completes and maintains required paperwork and/or documents.Follows and complies with all safety and work rules and regulations.Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GEDProblem Solving TechniquesForklift Operators LicenseIndustrial OperationsQuantitative SkillsConflict Resolution SkillsManual DexterityReading/ComprehensionIT Security EducationAdditional QualificationsClick here to enter any required and/or preferred certifications,licenses, software skills, soft skills, etc.Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly requiredto stand; walk; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; use hands tofinger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; talk and/or hear.Occasionally required to sit.
