Sales Support Summary Looking for a person with experience in design and installation of low voltage systems including voice and data infrastructures, access control, surveillance and other related systems to support and assist the SCP/Service sales team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as required.

  • Review construction documents and understand scope of work to bid.

  • Create take-offs of construction documents.

  • Inputs take-offs into a proposal spreadsheet.

  • Obtains pricing for materials.

  • Obtains bids from subcontractors.

  • Work directly with sales staff, technicians, co-workers and management on customer requests, proposals, product research and material orders.

  • Prepare bids, quotes, and proposals from architectural documents, prints and plans, site evaluation, and walkthroughs.

  • Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers.

  • Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline.

  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints.

  • Proficient at utilizing tools and equipment such as MS Office, BlueBeam, Procore, Field Service Manager and DTools.

  • Set follow-up to keep customers aware of latest developments.

  • Create sales material to present to customers.

  • Visit job sites when needed.

  • Work directly with crews to solve problems and create change orders.

  • Informs the immediate supervisor of any observed inaccuracies or omissions in quoted items or computer database.

  • Attends departmental meetings as required.

  • Research and process change orders, RFI?s, ASI?s, etc.

  • Perform misc. administrative functions related to sales/estimating.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.

  • Excellent team working, motivational, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.

  • Ability to multitask and quickly switch your focus.

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields.

  • Knowledge of low voltage systems.

  • Ability to build rapport with clients.

  • Deadline and detail oriented.

  • Strong computer skills.
