Sales Support Summary Looking for a person with experience in design and installation of low voltage systems including voice and data infrastructures, access control, surveillance and other related systems to support and assist the SCP/Service sales team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as required.
Review construction documents and understand scope of work to bid.
Create take-offs of construction documents.
Inputs take-offs into a proposal spreadsheet.
Obtains pricing for materials.
Obtains bids from subcontractors.
Work directly with sales staff, technicians, co-workers and management on customer requests, proposals, product research and material orders.
Prepare bids, quotes, and proposals from architectural documents, prints and plans, site evaluation, and walkthroughs.
Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers.
Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline.
Resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
Proficient at utilizing tools and equipment such as MS Office, BlueBeam, Procore, Field Service Manager and DTools.
Set follow-up to keep customers aware of latest developments.
Create sales material to present to customers.
Visit job sites when needed.
Work directly with crews to solve problems and create change orders.
Informs the immediate supervisor of any observed inaccuracies or omissions in quoted items or computer database.
Attends departmental meetings as required.
Research and process change orders, RFI?s, ASI?s, etc.
Perform misc. administrative functions related to sales/estimating.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
Excellent team working, motivational, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and quickly switch your focus.
Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields.
Knowledge of low voltage systems.
Ability to build rapport with clients.
Deadline and detail oriented.
Strong computer skills.
