POSITION: Health Promotion and Prevention ManagerREQUIREMENTS:QUALIFICATIONSA successful HPP Manager will have the following abilities: Knowledge and experience with prevention programs, specificallyrelated to public health practice. This may include experience with preventionprogram development, implementation, and evaluation. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, tomake informative, educational, and persuasive presentations internally andexte Confidence using and producing creative communication such aspresentation slides, social media posts, and flyers. Knowledge of principles and practices of coalition building anddeveloping community partnerships. A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in publichealth, human services, behavioral health, wellness, health caremanagement, grants management, public administration, businessadministration or related field preferred and 4 years of managementexperience.o Eight years of appropriate and relevant management experiences maysubstitute for a bachelor's degree. Must possess valid driver's license and have access to dependabletransportation readily available for business use. Travel is expected of all staff.WAGE: Salary range is $42,000 to $47,000 and is a full time exemptposition. The Health Promotion and PreventionManager is funded by grants, contracts and per capita contributions. Whilethere is no guarantee of continued employment if funding is discontinued,the employer will attempt to place the affected employee in a position ofequal responsibility and wage, if a position is open and available.BENEFITS: Employer offers an extensive benefit package including:-PERA Retirement-Paid Holidays-Paid Time Off (PTO)-Paid Health, Life, and Vision Insurance.DAYS AND HOURS: Full time (40 hours per week), Exempt. Schedule to bearranged with employer.DUTIES: The Health Promotion and Prevention (HPP) Manager oversees bothdirect services and population-based services that relate to chronic diseaseprevention across 9,200 square miles in northeast Colorado. Strategically collaborate on program goals with community partners(health care, law enforcement, public education, elected officials, etc.) Participate in the timely completion of applicable grant progressreports and other documentation as required. Collaborate with team on data collection and other evaluation-relatedactivities. Oversee budgets and reporting for assigned programs and may delegatereporting duties as appropriate. Review and approve payroll, PTO balances, PTO requests for HPP Team. Complete performance evaluations for HPP Team specialists and navigators.
