We'll celebrate milestones and acknowledge the value ofspirituality in healing.We're proud of what we know, which includes how much there is to learn.And we will share our knowledge with each other, patients and families.Your day.As a Clinical Pharmacist you will need to know how to:Provide drug information and assist physician in providing appropriate drugtherapy for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.Compound, prepare, mix, manufacture and dispense medicines and preparations.Interpret physician orders and intervene when appropriate for clarification orcorrection.Review the patient profile for allergies, interactions, andappropriateness before dispensing.Check dosage for appropriateness for pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.Carefully check the work of Technicians before initialing labels. DirectTechnicians to perform tasks appropriate to current priorities.Provide accurate drug information to other health professionals and laypersons where requested.Participate in interdisciplinary staff meetings and medical staff meetings.Perform nursing station inspections as assigned by the Director.Participate in medication use evaluations, record Pharmacistinterventions, and adverse drug events.Attend departmental Pharmacist meetings.Complete controlled drug records accurately.Attend in-services for self-development. Teach classes within the departmentto Nursing or medical staff when appropriate.Your experience.We hire people, not resumes.
